RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist clients with eligibility, billing, and claim issues for medical and ancillary services, act as backup to Account Executives on shared accounts, and build strong relationships with carrier contacts.
- Manage the renewal process by requesting carrier renewals, creating RFPs, reviewing quotes, and preparing renewal spreadsheets and presentations. Attend pre-renewal and renewal meetings to present options, negotiate renewals, and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
- Oversee Open Enrollment (OE) logistics by scheduling dates, auditing deliverables, coordinating with enrollers, and submitting reports/files to carriers. Assist with client implementation of new carriers and update client documentation with decisions and OE details.
- Knowledge of all medical and ancillary insurance products, usages and markets.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and ability to utilize computer programs and understand functionality. Agency Management system experience required;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
