About the Position:
Are you a Human Resources professional looking for the perfect blend of working with people, data, and finance? The Prince George's County Office of Human Resources Management is seeking a motivated and talented candidate to serve as an Employee Benefits Finance Analyst (Human Resources Analyst II) position, grade G-21. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine highly technical troubleshooting and analytical skills including critical thinking and data skills while engaging with high touch efforts to support County active employees and retirees with their health benefits plans.
The Employee Benefits Finance Analyst reports directly to the Manager, Benefits Administration, as part of the Benefits, Pensions and Retirement Services Division team. The Division is responsible for the development, maintenance, and administration of a comprehensive benefits program for County employees and retirees. The Employee Benefits Finance Analyst plays an integral role in ensuring highly accurate benefit plan invoices are processed and reconciled, performs compliance audits, and leverages the HRIs system to create a variety of reports for plan participation, finance and budget related to the benefits contracts administered by the County. The incumbent will engage in resolving complex matters associated with benefits plan implementation.
