SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS
The Employee Liaison Representative is responsible for assisting in the coordination for community team members
that includes recruiting, onboarding programs, training, and recordkeeping.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
• Assist in all phases of the recruitment process, including posting of positions, pre-screening, scheduling
interviews for appropriate managers, checking references and submitting background checks; works closely
with Talent Acquisition partner and Sr HR Consultant.
• Works with department leaders to finalize interviews, assist with job offers and arrange for new hire
orientations.
• Maintains tracking and scheduling of post-offer employment physicals, Hep B vaccinations and tracking of
PPD’s and drug testing.
• Conducts licensure and certification verifications and tracking for all required positions.
• Administers applicant tracking for all applicants to ensure compliance with applicable Affirmative Action
Plans.
• Coordinates and processes the new hire paperwork and ensures that new employees have completed the
required paperwork for payroll in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
• Completes the Weekly Labor Recap report on a weekly basis and submits it to ASC Talent Acquisition
Partner.
• May fill-in for Payroll Benefits Contact role as needed.
• Monitors the performance appraisal process.
• Administers pre-employment screenings including reference checks for all positions.
• Coordinates new employee orientation to review HR policies, and performs introductions to the community
team members, residents, and family members.
• Provides in-service education to team members.
• Administers tuition assistance requests.
• Maintains required labor law postings and notices throughout the property.
• Assists Business Office Manager with maintaining employee files and ensures that others are providing file
documentation in accordance with “Employee File Checklist” and all applicable federal and state laws.
• Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as requested.
• Assists with volunteer recruiting and onboarding.
• Ordering uniforms as needed.
• Coordinate the Employee of Month Program to include gathering of bio and pictures for recognition.
• Coordinate anniversaries, birthdays, employee appreciation, departmental recognition weeks, i.e. Nurses,
Housekeeping, Culinary weeks, etc.
• Manage the employee relations and retention efforts that includes employee recognition programs,
communications for the community, exit interviews, employee opinion survey results, and other programs as
necessary.
• Keeps abreast of all changes, memos, and communications and communicates accordingly to appropriate
staff members.• Maintains effective systems and accurate record keeping.
• Complies with the property’s privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and
all state and federal privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state
and federal privacy laws as outlined by HIPAA.
• Complies with and adheres to the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the
Bloodborne Pathogens Standards. Protective Personal Equipment (PPE), including personal protective
equipment for eyes, face, extremities, protective clothing, and protective shield and barriers, will be provided,
used, and maintained.
• Demonstrates teamwork and prompt and regular attendance to work to ensure that quality care and services
are provided to the patients we serve.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers, and staff.
