Employee Relations Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist to join our MyHR Team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and administering and coordinating employee separation and offboarding activities Your primary focus will be providing support to employees and People Managers, ensuring timely coordination, accurate data administration, and maintaining document retention to facilitate a smooth exit process while upholding compliance standards for Fortive. The Employee Relations Specialist will also support initial triage of employee concerns ensuring that they routed timely to the appropriate teams.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage and administer employee separation activities, including severance calculations, preparation, preparing separation packages, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
+ Provide employees with all necessary documentation and act as point of contact for any inquiries or issue resolution throughout the separation and offboarding process with empathy and professionalism.
+ Ensure accurate and timely data administration related to employee separations, including updating HRIS systems, maintaining separation records, and document retention.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal counsel and payroll, to ensure separation administration and offboarding activities are coordinated efficiently and timely.
+ Collaborate with HR Business Partners and legal and compliance ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations during separation and offboarding processes.
+ Maintain separation documentation, including separation agreements, termination letters, and other relevant paperwork, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
+ Serve as the initial point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and feedback related to employee relations matters and triage appropriately.
+ Conduct initial triage of employee issues, assessing the nature of the concern and routing it to the appropriate teams or individuals for further action.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall effectiveness in the separation and offboarding processes.

+ Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and candidates.
+ Ability to work collaboratively: Employee relations often involve collaboration with HR Business Partners, legal teams, and other stakeholders. The ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively.
+ Critical thinking: As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will encounter various scenarios that will required critical thinking and sound judgment to effectively administer the Employee Relations scope of work.
+ Confidentiality: Handling sensitive employee information requires maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Respect privacy and ensure that employee data and case details are handled with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, new processes, guidance, learn new technologies and systems, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
+ Proactive approach: Self-motivated and driven to take initiative, anticipate needs, and raise issues quickly.
+ Customer service orientation: Commitment to providing exceptional service to employee's and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a HR Operations role, preferably supporting separation activities
+ Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to separations and investigations.
+ Professional certification in HR or employee relations (e.g., Professional in Human Resources, Certified Employee Relations Professional) is a plus.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 54,100.00 - 100,500.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
