As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for the offboarding and exit interview process, triage coaching inquiries, and partner closely with our Employee Relations Consultants on performance management and investigation efforts for our organization. This role will be an integral liaison between our Employee Relations Consultants and the trends you are identifying through your work with employee situations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills and be able to navigate complex employee relations feedback. You will work closely with the Employee Relations team to ensure that we maintain a positive work environment in an effort to retain our top talent. This role reports to the Employee Relations Manager of Culture & Engagement.
Responsibilities
- Create and cultivate internal relationships to develop strategic partnerships
- Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to gain insight into their reasons for leaving and identifying areas of improvement to enhance the workplace experience
- Manage offboarding strategy that allows exiting employees to gracefully separate organization while communicating with stakeholders, processing workflows, and managing all administrative functions of the exit process
- Collaborating with Employee Relations Consultants to develop and implement action plans based on feedback from exit interviews, through the creation and compilation of trends in data
- Providing triage coaching to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to employee relations
- Managing the scheduling and documentation of employee relations cases and investigations, including setting up interviews with employees, taking notes of investigations, and compiling information in clear and direct formats
- Partnering with Employee Relations Consultants on creating and delivering training programs related to employee relations and performance management, along with other key areas of the employee and leader experience
- Track human resources-related regulations and laws affecting daily operations. Monitor business practices and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment practices, statutes, orders, and guidelines
- Through demonstrated individual performance, promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with employees, customers, and the community.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by the manager

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in employee relations or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience with HRIS and other HR-related systems
- Through demonstrated individual performance, promotes the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with employees, customers, and the community
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $51,700.00 -- $111,900.00 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
