Position Overview:
We seek an experienced Employment and Entertainment Attorney to join our growing New York City office team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in employment law and the entertainment industry, with a proven ability to manage complex legal matters and counsel clients across diverse sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment disputes, including wrongful termination, wage and hour, and discrimination cases.
- Provide legal counsel to entertainment clients on contract negotiations, intellectual property rights, and talent agreements.
- Draft and review legal documents, including employment agreements, entertainment contracts, and corporate policies.
- Stay up-to-date with legal developments in employment and entertainment law.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
- 5-9+ years of experience in employment and entertainment law.
- Strong knowledge of labor & employment regulations, as well as entertainment industry standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
