Our client, a highly regarded law firm with a well-established presence in Sacramento, is actively seeking a motivated Employment Law Attorney to join their expanding legal team. Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload involving a variety of employment matters, such as wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and employee benefits litigation.
• Draft and review pleadings, legal memoranda, employment agreements, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.
• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations related to employment disputes.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings, including before the EEOC, DFEH, and other regulatory agencies.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to businesses, HR departments, and individuals on employment policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex employment litigation matters and assist in trial preparation.
• Stay up to date with changes in state and federal employment law to provide proactive advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-10 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on litigation or counseling.
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment regulations, including California wage and hour laws, FEHA, FMLA, and ADA.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and expectations.
• Must reside or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, California area.
