We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Employment Law Trial Attorney to join our growing legal team. This individual will be responsible for representing clients in all aspects of employment law litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in legal research, plaintiff representation, legal writing, and mediation. Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court proceedings and trials related to employment law issues, including but not limited to, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other labor law matters.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare and present cases effectively.
3. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and briefs.
4. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various employment law matters.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best representation for our clients.
7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and legal trends in the field of employment law.
8. Develop strategies to handle complex legal issues in a way that serves the best interests of the client.
9. Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses to gather relevant information for the case.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience in employment law litigation.
3. Proven experience in legal research, plaintiff representation, legal writing, and mediation.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal information clearly and concisely.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in settlement discussions.
7. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
8. Knowledge of current laws, regulations, and trends in the field of employment law.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
