Position Overview:
Join a dynamic and broad practice as part of the Employment Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative clients, ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, across industries such as technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech. You will handle complex and diverse matters, including internal investigations, trade secret misappropriation claims, contract disputes, and high-profile employment-related litigation. This is a collaborative environment where mid-level associates take on significant responsibilities in both litigation and advisory roles.
Responsibilities
Litigate employment law cases, including claims involving trade secrets, covenants not to compete, and employee non-solicitation
Advise clients on employment mobility issues, including non-competes and trade secret protections
Provide day-to-day legal counsel to fast-growing technology companies on employment matters, including terminations, leaves of absence, and employment policies
Draft and review employment-related documents and policies
Represent clients in employment disputes, including high-profile sexual harassment and discrimination cases
Advise on employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions
Required Skills and Experience
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
3-5 years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
Experience advising on employment issues in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
Excellent academic credentials and superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Membership in the CA Bar preferred
