Key Responsibilities:

• The Employment Litigation Associate must represent and litigate employment-related lawsuits and agency claims covering a wide range of issues.
• Provide legal advice, counsel, and training to employers on employment and labor law matters.
• Advocate for employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations on employment cases, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, contract issues, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.

Qualifications:

• The Employment Litigation Associate must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience, from a large law firm.
• The Employment Litigation Associate must have an active membership in the California Bar, in good standing.
• Familiarity with current procedures of state and federal agencies.
• Experience with Class Actions or PAGA is a plus, but not mandatory.
• The Employment Litigation Associate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a dedication to achieving excellence.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
• The Employment Litigation Associate must have demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and collegiality.
