Mobile Employment Specialist
A dynamic opportunity to help individuals in early recovery who are unemployed or underemployed and in need of assistance with issues related to preparing for employment in collaboration with agency and community providers. Primary responsibilities include providing mobile employment services to 120 individuals per year with the goal of finding gainful employment for individuals in recovery.
Fulltime/ Non-Exempt - 40 Hours/week
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred. CCB certification preferred. Must have proven technical, clinical, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and in the community. Ability to Speak Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and engage clients by identifying and evaluating individual strengths, weaknesses, qualifications, employment history, problems and needs for the development of an individualized employment plan.
- Develop employment plans with clients by identifying and ranking problems needing resolution; establishing reasonable and achievable goals; determining skills needed and resources to be used.
- Assist clients in gaining access to services including, employment, educational, vocational, and other services essential to gainful employment and achieving optimal quality of life and community living.
