EMS Training Coordinator - Emergency Medical Services (Days) - Tanner Health System

Definitions

This position is responsible for coordinating a variety of emergency services-related training for non-emergency staff in accordance with the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) and the Georgia Department of Public Health | Georgia Emergency Medical Service Information System (GEMSIS). As the Training Coordinator, you may need to cover an Admin EMS truck and non-Emergency shifts.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

PARAMEDIC

ACLS INSTRUCTOR

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

BLS Instructor within 6 months from hire.

FEMA ICS 100,200,700,800 class completion within 90 days of hire.

ACLS Instructor within 6 months from hire.
