EMT - 36hrs *$5,000 Sign On Bonus - Boston Children's Hospital

Starting salary $27/hr

The EMT will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the care of critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Managing transport equipment.
• Operating the Boston Children’s Hospital ambulance.
• Managing radio critical care transport team telephone requests.
• Manage Emergency Department referrals (“expects”) from the region.
• Arranging ambulance discharges from Boston Children’s Hospital.
• Trauma activations.
• Coordinating the transfer of diagnostic images.
• Facilitating telemedicine consults with several hospital emergency departments.

To qualify, you must have:

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• A current valid driver’s license.
• A Minimum of 3 years EMT experience (experience in a 911 system is preferred).
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work on a team

*Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 if hired before 1/31/25 (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
