Description:
CutisCare provides management services to wound care and hyperbaric medicine service lines in hospitals nationwide
As a Hyperbaric Technician you will be joining a team of compassionate wound care specialists in positively impacting the patients’ quality of life throughout their healing journey
This is a full time position with medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) match and paid time off.
On the job training is provided
The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for:
The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patient
Acting as a hyperbaric observer during treatments inside a pressurized hyperbaric chamber
Responsible for ensuring that the hyperbaric observer is alert and attentive to patients
Providing patient education and orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Checking patient vital signs and updating patient chart
Assist in the start-up and shut down of the facility
Responsible for completing equipment maintenance on time
Requirements:
Current license or certification as applicable in state of practice in one of the following areas:
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)
Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS)
Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)
Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
