Our Masonic Cancer Clinic is one of the nation’s top cancer research centers with a team of specialized doctors, nurses, researchers and health care professionals committed to providing life-saving care to people with cancer. People travel from across the country and around the world for treatments within our hospitals/clinics. What you will do:
- You will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits.
- Monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records.
- Act as valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others.
- Depending on scope of certification or license, some employees will be assisting with minor in office procedures, giving injections and immunizations and other laboratory/sample collections.
What you will need:
- As anEmergency Medical Technician (EMT): NREMT & MN EMT certification
- As aMedical Assistant (MA): Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred)
- As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota LPN license
- As aVisit Facilitator: In the absence of a certification or license, a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of customer service experience is required
If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate’s specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.
Location: 909 Fulton St. SE. Minneapolis, MN 55455
Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hrs per week with a rotating schedule Monday - Friday
