CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide, has an excellent opportunity for highly motivated Emergency Medical Technicians with strong clinical, computer and multi-tasking skills. CareOnSite is an exciting new option for EMS providers looking for a slower pace, no more unplanned holdovers, and no more 24-48-72 hr. shift.
This is for a Full Time position 50/hrs a week.
Pay: $23-$31 an Hour
The CareOnSite EMT is responsible for providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care to all persons working within the confines of the site. This position will include work in both a clinical setting, as well as a field setting working as part of a team or alone.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Respond to emergencies throughout the site efficiently and promptly.
- Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
- Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
- Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
- Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any work site incidents and hazards.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to be cognoscente of the constantly changing worksite environment and site hazards.
- Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced always.
- Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
- Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active State EMT or Paramedic license
- Active BLS certification
- 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g. ER department or 911 contracted ambulance service)
- 911 experience is required
