Job Description: | The Office of Museum Technology at the Florida Museum of Natural History seeks a well-qualified End User Computing Specialist I. The position works in a three-person team providing help desk and hardware break-fix support to 500+ Windows computers, Apple computers, tablets and associated peripheral devices. Success in the position requires strong written communication skills, as well as strong technical skills, to communicate with end users and to maintain documentation. As a side benefit, you will learn about the natural history objects and collections here – we’ve got everything from sharks and snakes to plants and paleontology! Expected Salary: | 19.16-23.95; commensurate with education and experience |
Minimum Requirements: | Associate's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Excellent written communication skills required. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical and business writing skills (concise, clear, and cohesive writing skills). CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification preferred.
