Position Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician assist with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and /or physician. The technician has the responsibility to assist with the assessment of patient needs and follows through with the designated plan of action. Additionally, the Endoscopy tech is responsible of the handling and processing of the endoscopy procedural equipment and turnover of the procedure room, along with inventory of supplies, linens and equipment. The Tech will transports patients as directed and performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)
