The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing the organization's endpoint devices, ensuring they are configured, updated, and protected against security threats. The Endpoint Administrator will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining endpoint security measures, managing device configurations, and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against malware, viruses, and other security threats.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to endpoints.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on endpoint devices.
- Configure and maintain endpoint devices according to organizational standards.
- Build/Configure Operating Systems to include, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Tablet, Thin Client, Android, & iOS.
- Manage Network and local printer configurations.
- Implement and enforce endpoint configuration policies.
- Manage and deploy operating system images and updates to endpoints.
- Implement and manage Mobile Device Management solutions for mobile devices.
- Enforce security policies on mobile devices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Develop and implement a patch management strategy for endpoint devices.
- Ensure that endpoints are regularly updated with the latest security patches and updates.
- Printer BIOS Security updates (Markvision)
- Provide technical support for endpoint-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on endpoint security best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for endpoint configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the integration of endpoint solutions with overall IT infrastructure.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to address and mitigate security vulnerabilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Endpoint Administrator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint security solutions and best practices.
- Proven experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. (i.e. Desktop Central, SCCM, Apple Business Manager, Beyond Trust Virtual Appliance)
- Strong understanding of patch management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on site independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are desirable.
