Responsibilities
- Assist our Energy Solutions sales team in marketing energy savings lighting & lighting control solutions to our existing customer base and new commercial and industrial marketing segments
- Establish customer rapport and identify energy-saving opportunities with lighting solutions
- Prepare and present customer solutions to satisfy business problems and service expectations
- Assist the Energy Services sales team in managing proposals and KPIs to consistently close Energy Lighting sales
- Perform site lighting surveys, audits, utility rebates, and project payback calculations (ROI) to meet the customer’s energy-saving goals
- Maintain an active backlog of lighting surveys to ensure goals are consistently achieved
- Promptly address customer concerns to ensure resolution and establish positive, long-term relationships
- Further develop and stay current on new lighting products and industry technologies through ongoing training and education
- Active/valid driver's license
- 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Energy & Lighting Industry
- Solid understanding of lighting products & projects, including:
- Energy Savings
- Return on Investment (ROI)
- Utility rebates
- Experience with Rebate & Grant paperwork
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills that will solidify prospect, customer, and business partner relationships
- A positive and collaborative outlook/attitude
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
