ENG Technician II from Volt

Volt is immediately hiring an Engineering Tech in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will assist scientists and engineers in the laboratory
This is a first shift position.
As an Engineering Tech you will:
- Perform testing and record data on products and raw materials using defined test methods
- Use computer software to analyze data, summarize conclusions, and complete documentation
- Prepare, operate, and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and lab equipment
- Independently carry out tasks and tests
- Perform routine lab duties including storing of samples, inventory of supplies and chemicals, and other typical lab tasks
- Train others as needed on sample preparations, test methods, and lab protocols
The ideal candidate will have:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or BA from an accredited university
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
- Two-year associate degree (2-year degree)
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience
