Engagement & Retention Consultant - Seattle Children's

The Engagement and Retention consultant is responsible to design, deliver, and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement, recognition, and retention strategies for the organization, working with People & Culture leadership. Reporting to the Director, Engagement and Retention, this role will be responsible for understanding desired goals (at the organization and department level) and working with stakeholders and partners across the organization to implement engagement and retention efforts aligned with the organization's anti-racism and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of ongoing engagement and retention programs and initiatives. Partner with Insights and Design team to understand engagement survey results and analysis and create resources and tools to support awareness and understanding of survey tools and results. Functions as a primary resource to employees, leaders, faculty, and executives provides direction and counsel as requested for all engagement and retention matters, including but not limited to, understanding workforce engagement survey data, development of improvement plans, training and educating on best practices, and leveraging appreciation methods. Coordinates the services of other disciplines within People and Culture as appropriate. Develop, monitor, and evaluate metrics to measure and improve program effectiveness using appropriate CII and error-prevention principles. **Required Education and Experience** - Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, health care or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5 years' experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management. - Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary team, committees, activities, and staff. - Experience providing consultation to employees and leaders in one or more functional area within People and Culture. - Have a solid understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices. **Required Credentials** - N/A. **Preferred** - Experience working in a healthcare or research environment. - Experience in development coaching. - Substantial experience in setting up and organizing events or similar activities. \#LI-JC1 **Compensation Range** $101,733.00 - $152,589.00 per year **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
