Engineer - Mid South Steel

Job Summary
Midsouth Steel, an industry leader in the fabrication and erection of structural steel has an immediate need for an Engineer. This is a full-time, direct hire position with tremendous growth potential and excellent benefits.

Duties
- Using structural steel analysis software to perform engineering calculations in support of the Engineering team.
- Draft plans and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct structural analysis using tools like Tekla, RISA, and RAM Steel
- Implement project management principles to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform technical writing for reports and documentation
- Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural performance

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering or related field
- Experience and understanding of structural steel
- Experience in technical writing and documentation
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus
