FEA Mechanical Design Engineer - Alliance, Ohio #24-00175
Salary Range: $80K - $90K Permanent Position with Benefits
An Alliance equipment manufacture is seeking to hire a FEA Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, components, and products. The role involves collaborating with cross- functional teams to ensure designs meet functionality, reliability, and cost requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create innovative mechanical designs for products or systems, considering factors such as function, cost, manufacturability, and ease of maintenance.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed 3D models, and technical drawings of components or assemblies.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and product managers to integrate mechanical designs into overall product development.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports for designs, test procedures, and results.
- Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement through analysis and iteration.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) for designing and creating detailed 3D models and drawings.
- 5 or more years' experience in Finite Element Analysis.
- 5 or more years' experience in Machine design.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (required).
- Machine design experience (required)
- Weldment design experience (required)
- Assembly design experience (required)
- FEA experience (required)
