L.A. LIVE is a vibrant 4 million square foot entertainment destination located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It is located adjacent to Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center and features venues including The Novo, a 2,300 capacity live music venue, Peacock Theater, a 7,100-seat live theatre, a 54-story, 1001-room convention "headquarters" destination (including The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Position Summary:
The L.A. LIVE- Engineer will in a safe and efficient manner, operates and maintains, repairs boilers, chillers, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning equipment. Inspects, maintains, and repairs mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping and plumbing systems, fixtures within guidelines of State, County or City Ordinances, Codes or Laws.
Essential Functions:
- Repairs boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, etc.
- Maintains and repairs all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, plumbing, etc.
- Repair toilets, lights, fixtures etc.
- Assist with event setup.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a High school or G.E.D. Equivalent.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time of up to 6 hours with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to lift/carry/pull/push up to 50lbs.
- Must have previous engineering experience with active certifications.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must be willing to join Local 501 Union.
Pay Scale: $44.92- $48.81
