Job Description:
The position is a Surfacing Plans Project Engineer position with the Surfacing Plans Group in the Office of Materials and Surfacing. The purpose of this position is to assemble surfacing plans for transportation projects throughout the state. Duties will include gathering available project information, developing surfacing/resurfacing plans, calculation surfacing quantities, coordinating plans assembly with other DOT offices, initiating plan reviews, and delivering final plans for bid letting.
Work is normally in an office environment with eight-hour work days. A flexible work schedule and remote work request will be considered.
