About the Job
Overview of the Position:
Oversee all engineering and sourcing requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design of commercial aircraft aftermarket parts by reverse engineering.
* If required incumbent may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
* Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data.
* Create manufacturing drawings of aftermarket parts from dimensional reports, material analysis, and available technical data.
* Manage multiple reverse engineering projects simultaneously.
* Create reports and data packages to be submitted to the FAA for certification.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Detail oriented.
* Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with 3D CAD modeling, with Solid Works experience preferred.
Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
