Engineering Aide - Peoria, IL - ITC, Inc.

Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, IL is looking for an Engineering Aide, to add to their team.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for identifying and correcting issues on assigned projects to improve shop floor support
• Conduct analysis on existing tooling and provide metrics data related to any defects found.
• Shop floor support for manufacturing engineers across multiple product lines.
• Assist with proper tooling cataloging and storage
• Coordinate with suppliers for changes needed to improve shop safety and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Teams, ability to read blueprints, ability to ready assembly instructions.
• Lean manufacturing, six sigma (nice to have).
• Self-starter, willing to learn, well organized. Someone who can plan ahead and take initiative. Time-management and detail-oriented needed. Should be able to work under difficult situations and communicates effectively (written and verbal)
• Bachelors preferred in any field with 0 - 2 years of experience.
