Education:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accreditedcollege/university and six (6) years of experience analyzing results of tests, assisting in ensuring data integrity and quality, providing statistical analysis and presenting findings to team members and management; or an Associate's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accreditedcollege/university and eight (8) years of applicable experience; or ten (10) years of applicable experience; or ten (10) years of applicable military experience performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.

Required Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of Radio-Controlled (RC) experience with fixed wing and multirotor. UAS autopilot (such as Ardupilot and Q Ground Control) knowledge and experience. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing experience.
Skills Needed:
Fixed wing experience must be without the aid of an autopilot or gyro assisted components. Must have experience operating DoD Group 3 or larger aircraft Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Must have demonstrated ability to apply practical knowledge to flight testing applicable to the developmental and system qualification testing of DoD unmanned aircraft. Candidate must have the ability to operate DoD Group 1 and 2 Multirotor and Fixed Wing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in multiple flight modes from a Ground Controlled Station (GCS).
Duties:
Incumbent will serve as an unmanned aircraft systems operator (UAS) and will be responsible for conducting developmental testing of unmanned aircraft. Incumbent will provide UAS flight support for Counter UAS testing. The testing will be in direct support of the test and evaluation mission of the U.S. Army Redstone Test Center located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
