Engineering - Civil at LJ Gonzer Associates

L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Civil/Structural Engineer with our client based in Bronx, NY. In this long-term contract opportunity, you'll be providing field engineering inspection and office engineering.

Job Duties:

• Review Construction documents
• Supervise and provide guidance to Contractor
• Resolve Construction issues related to field conditions, inter discipline conflicts, long term maintenance issues and life cycle costs.
• Initiate General Orders, operate under flagging / General Orders and be able to properly close General Orders
• Prepare daily reports, formal punch-lists, informal / running punch-lists, coordinate and confirm punch-list completion, conduct joint pre-and final inspections

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, business administration
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• AutoCAD
• OSHA 30 certification
