About the Job
Education & Experience Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, mechanical engineering preferred
-2-4 years experience required.
Technical Skills (Required)
-Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
-Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
-Capable with hands-on work – hand tools, measurement equipment, test equipment, data collection
(Desired)
-Engine or fuel system design and development experience
-Data analysis – basic statistics familiarity
-Knowledgeable in Creo modeling (CREO and CREO simulate)
Soft Skills (Required)
-Problem solver – curious, drives to true root cause, pays attention to detail
-Strong verbal and written communication – able to be concise and clear
-Self-starting – requires little direction and follow up to complete task/project
-Able to work well in a team environment – Engineering and factory personnel
-Safety conscious – personal and team
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
-fuel system (injector, pump, lines) design, assembly and test support
-collaborating with suppliers on design optimization
-Team of 3 additional engineers supporting new technology introduction
-Primary project is the development of a new fuel system (injector, pump, lines) for client''s diesel engines used in industrial and machine applications

Typical task breakdown:
-Design support – Components and assemblies - models, drawings in Creo
-Component documentation – Microscope imaging, part measurement
-Component assembly and test
-Internal and external supplier collaboration
Interaction with team:
-Daily, in person, team collaboration on most activities
Work environment:
-Mix of office, engineering lab, production factory environments
