Wieland is hiring Engineers to join the Engineering Development Program (EPD)! The EDP is a targeted program to hire, train, and retain top engineering talent across Wieland North America. Wieland is searching for the next generation of problem solvers in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Materials Science Engineering. Throughout the EDP, you will connect with a variety of leaders within Wieland & learn practical experience. Wieland is looking for engineers to innovate new solutions for sustainable operations; to design, build, and commission such solutions, and then to optimize and maintain them over their lifetime.
Responsibilities:The EDP will feature a two-year rotational program to receive broad, yet in-depth, hands-on training in Wieland operations & culture. The rotations will include shorter stints at Wieland's North American headquarters in Louisville, KY & Global headquarters in Ulm, Germany, followed by longer stints at various North American production sites where you will engage in specialized education & training.
The EDP will feature a core curriculum for every member plus a focused curriculum for your specialized field. The focused curriculum will feature cross-pollination to provide exposure within other fields to fully understand the breadth & depth of Wieland operations & the heavy manufacturing industry.
