Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an **Engineering Intern** to be based in **Buffalo, NY** . _This position is expected to begin in May 2025._ The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study + Perform assignments requiring an application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. + Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. + Prepare engineering-related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids. + Develop solutions for routine technical problems with limited scope. + Work under the supervision of a project engineer or senior-level team member. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating. + Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience using MS Office. + Experience with AutoCAD. + Effective written and oral communication skills. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in **Buffalo, NY** . The selected candidate must be available to work in **Buffalo, NY** on a scheduled basis. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
