StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Engineering team for an internship opportunity.
As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification status/configuration of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.

What you’ll do:
- Create Shop Aids for Maintenance
- Upkeep of existing specialized equipment, Waterjet, Liburdi Welder, Plasma Systems and Vacuum Furnace.
- Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline
- Review and/or create drawings and sketches
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications, and on-site client support
- Assist with Tooling-related projects (e.g. New Tooling Fabrication, Tooling validation)
Position Requirements:
- Seeking students/interns who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Strong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement
- Ability to work independently multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel up to 10% within Florida to other facilities as needed
