Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an **Engineering Intern** to be based in the **Philadelphia, PA** office. Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private sector and public sector. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services. _This position is expected to begin in October 2024._ **Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Pavement design and analysis + Earthwork analysis + Grading and drainage design + Erosion and sediment control measures + Utility coordination + Cost estimating and quantity preparation + Plan production + Technical specification development + Construction administration services. + Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. + Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship unless graduating. + Candidates must have completed one year of study in their program. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Excel and MS Word. + Experience with CAD programs such as AutoCAD is a plus. + Experience with MathCAD is a plus. + Experience with modelling software is a plus. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available in the future for this position. + This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in **Philadelphia, PA.** The selected candidate must be available to work in **Philadelphia, PA** on a scheduled basis. \#LI-SG1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
