Engineering Intern(s) - Aviation - Mead & Hunt

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for limited-term, full-time engineering interns to work on aviation projects. Students in both civil engineering or civil technology programs are encouraged to apply! This internship has potential to turn into a full-time position.

Responsibilities include assisting engineers, design technicians, and surveyors with airfield engineering projects; performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates; assisting with project report preparation; performing field inspections; and survey work. A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and overnight/extended-stay travel will be required.

Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or survey engineering technology.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Civil/survey engineering coursework
• Construction field observation and documentation
• Survey tasks
• Construction materials testing
• Microsoft Office software
