Job Title: Engineering/Maintenance
Pay rate: $30.00
Shift: 1st shift
The Manager Engineering/Maintenance manages and ensures the performance of facility equipment and processes including management of maintenance staff. These duties include reviewing and distributing work and personnel schedules, conferring with department management to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress of work, labor hours, costs, and production problems. This position maintains, troubleshoots, and/or tests robotic equipment or related automated production systems.
Principle Responsibilities
• Distribute production schedules and work orders to maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoot systems, using programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics,sensor, etc.
• Design, configure and application of robotic systems and modify computer-controlled robot movements.
• Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs.
• Perform preventative or corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment and robotic systems.
• Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.
• Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing spreadsheets to determine personnel or materials requirements and priorities.
• Manage department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes. Monitor and evaluate technician’s work performance.
• Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Manage inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables.
• Fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures, using metalworking machines, testing performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems or equipment.
• Calculate figures, such as required amounts of labor materials, manufacturing costs, or wages,
using pricing schedules, adding machines, calculators, or computers.
• Supervise preventive and predicative activities, such as routine maintenance systems and periodic inspections.
• Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, personnel schedules, and maintenance, or repair orders.
• Establish and prepare product construction directions and locations and information on required tools, materials, equipment, numbers of workers needed, and cost projections.
• Provide documentation and information to account for delays, difficulties, or changes to cost estimates.
Qualifications
• Minimum Associate Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, auto parts manufacturing experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or processing company experience required.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload.
• Team player with high energy and a can-do attitude.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing, six sigma, and value engineering preferred.
• Required to have effective communication skills both verbal as well as written in Korean and English, Spanish is a plus.

• Strong math skills, with capability of understanding and conducting basic arithmetic and statistical operations.
• Ability to quickly recognize errors and inconsistencies in numerical data (good analysis skills).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to establish reports.
• Excellent supervisory skills and communication skills essential.
