Salary Information
We expect to fill this position as an Engineering Manager with a pay range of $102,000 - $120,000 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.

As an Engineering Manager, a typical day might include:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of product functional testing requirements and solutions for protection and control equipment.
- Establishing and supporting an in-depth understanding of evaluation methods to ensure compliance with market functional testing requirements.
- Consulting with development teams on design, evaluation, and mitigation practices to ensure compliance with functional testing requirements.
- Supervising test engineers and technicians work relating to product functional testing.
- Analyzing test system reliability, capacity, and utilization. Research new test capabilities and make recommendations for improvements based on analysis and research.
- Building a team through hiring excellent employees, oversee training to meet testing objectives and offer guidance and support for professional development efforts.
- Communicating with customers and engineering teams to determine needs, establish project priorities, and provide progress updates.
- Identifying, establishing, and managing projects to address company-level functional testing improvement opportunities.
This job might be for you if you have:
- A B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ of experience in product functional testing
- 5+ of relevant leadership experience, including project management experience
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Experience creating and performing functional tests on protection and control equipment
- Knowledge of one or more of the following standards: ISO/IEC 17025, IEC 60255-1xx, IEC 60947-x
Physical Requirements
- Sit and/or stand at least eight hours
- Lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds infrequently
