Steel Fabrication Company in search of an experienced Engineering(Civil/Structural) Department Manager to join the team.

Duties:

Superviseeight tonine person Engineering departmentwhich is responsible for producing structural steel,miscellaneous metals and rebar fabrication shop drawings.Currently usingSDS2, RebarCAD and AutoCAD Software.

Monitoring all jobs and workflow through the department to meet customer's needs. Work with subcontracted detailers to handle overflow work.

Communicatewithcustomersandproductiondepartment.

Reviewand interpretcontractdrawingsandspecificationsas well asshopdrawings. Report directlytoVicePresident.

Otherdutiesas assigned.

Qualifications:

Expertiseinreadingcontract drawings andspecifications.Specifically Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Civil Drawings and Specifications.-

ProficiencyinSDS2orTekla,AutocadandBluebeam softwareispreferred. Managerial experience in steelfabrication is a plus.

Minimum two-year degree indraftingtechnology.B.S.in civilormechanical engineering preferred.

Detailoriented,accurate,andthorough.
