We are a cross functional team of engineers, analysts, marketers, and product managers that deliver the insights, internal systems and tools that fuel Stripe’s growth. As part of the Demand Generation Systems team, you will own systems that power go-to-market motions productizing gathered insights and intelligence
This includes building tools that 1/ identify when a human assisted customer experience is needed 2/ codify and operationalize human assisted workflow through systems 3/ use AI/ML to accelerate the workflow and 4/ build observability to drive insight and optimizations.What you’ll doResponsibilitiesWork closely with product, program and business leaders to develop a long term vision and execute on marketing systems strategy that scales marketing motions.Adapt prioritization and staffing decisions as the team, business, and user demands progressDesign and build delightful Stripe facing tooling and business critical services for seller tooling.Ensure our infrastructure is extensible, scalable, reliable, and meets SLAs for both external and internal usersImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processes.Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team of engineers.Who you areWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role

The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years of management experienceOrganizational leadership experience, including experience collaborating with executive leadershipExperience proactively seeking feedback from users, business leaders, and subject matter expertsExcellent verbal and written communicationPreferred qualificationsExperience in Go-To-Market technology domain where you are directly responsible for building on GTM platforms(like Salesforce), integrating with other GTM systems and building internal GTM products that contribute to the demand generation tech stack.Experience with machine learning, recommender systems, product-led growth, and/or lifecycle marketing.Experience developing/shaping internally and externally facing productsExperience building distributed systems or a microservices architectureBachelors or Masters degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science)
