Engineering Manager, Mobile - Procore Technologies

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join Procore’s Mobile Engineering team. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to drive the next generation of field application experience initiatives. You’ll work with our dedicated and talented team spanning Engineering, Product Management, UX and Architects to create and scale the next generation Procore experience on Mobile devices. 

As an Engineering Manager, you will be primarily responsible for establishing the strategic technical direction,  actively driving the execution of that strategy, and effectively communicating with numerous stakeholders across the Product and Technology organization.  This is a great opportunity to use your leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills to build highly effective systems and practices, foster collaborative relationships, and measure value delivered to our customers.

This position reports to the Sr Manager of Mobile Engineering with the opportunity to be located in the Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Drive innovation and change to accommodate customer needs for Procore

• Provide technical leadership and work cross-functionally with Product and UX teams to build roadmaps and execution plans

• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies, drive innovation and invest in sustainable product development to increase adoption

• Collaborate with leadership to set short term and long term goals and strategies and contribute to architecture design

• Collaborate with VPs, Directors, and stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and align technology solutions to business goals for Mobile customers

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years total experience as a Software Engineer

• 2+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezones

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred

• Experience in leading through ambiguity and bringing clarity to lead effectively

• Ability to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approaches

• Readiness to collaborate and organize to solve complex problems

• Passionate about mobile technology, tooling, industry trends, and best practices in Platform and Infrastructure

Base Pay Range $158,680 - $218,185. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
