Summary:
The Wearables Hardware Engineering Project Specialist (HW EPS) team supports all the Wearables Hardware Products across Meta from NTI to shipping products. As an Engineering Project Specialist, your top priority will be partnering with Technical Program Managers to deliver hardware to Cross-Functional team(s) on time to support product development.This role requires good communication skills and attention to details as you will be working with large cross-functional both internally and externally. Managing and keeping track of information are extremely critical to the success of this role.
Required Skills:
Engineering Program Specialist Responsibilities:
1. Manage procurement and keep track of Purchase Orders
2. Support budget management and forecasting
3. Work closely with engineering and PLM teams to ensure error-free BOMs (bill of materials)
4. Support build matrix setup
5. Drive material clear-to-build for hardware builds and support component shipping logistics
6. Collect allocation requests and distribution logistics
7. Manage multiple programs concurrently
8. Up to 10% travel on program needs
Minimum Qualifications:

9. 3+ years experience as an Engineering Program Specialist in consumer electronics
10. Experience in hardware development, working with part vendors domestically and internationally
11. Experience managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, coordinating across different teams, vendors and time zones

12. 5+ years experience as an Engineering Program Specialist in consumer electronics
13. Experience working with SMT (Surface mount technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test and Pack) contract manufacturers
Public Compensation:
$94,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
