About the Job
Our business manufacturing and supply client is looking for an Engineering Project Manager in Fairport, NY!!
- Leads technical teams in support of various projects for Client Advanced Optics (AO) division
- Leads technical teams and works with internal stakeholders to execute programs
- Defines and executes overall project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and people resource needs, to enable programs to scale appropriately in each stage to meet technical, schedule, and cost targets
- Drives progress from project initiation through delivery, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
- Constantly monitors for changes in project requirements, scope, or assumptions
- Sets key project messages and manages the flow of information related to project direction, issues, needs, and progress with key project stakeholders
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Utilizes Client Tollgate process to direct program activities
- Oversees product testing and evaluation to ensure that project requirements are met
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on project management experience
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Extremely skilled in using Project management tools
