Engineering Technician - Bridge - T.Y. Lin International

Our Northern CA Area is seeking an Engineer I. 

• Perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for designing concrete and steel bridge and appurtenant transportation structures.
• Research and review design options for both technical & economic impact.
• Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.
• Prepare material quantities for structures.
• Team player that will remain in close coordination with other Engineers, independent quality control and quality assurance reviews.
• Other assignments as needed.

• Requires a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT license preferred and/or working toward PE license in the future.
• Minimum of 1 year bridge design and DOT experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills in structural analysis, including dynamic and seismic analysis, and design of various types of bridge structures.
• Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

TYLin is committed to pay equity.
