Position Summary:
As an Engineering Technician at Revelyst, you will support multiple engineering design and development teams by participating in a full range of R&D lab activities. You will build new test equipment and fixtures, conduct tests by following SOP’s, operate and maintain 3d printers, support 5S lean manufacturing activities, and provide feedback on product performance to project owners.
Essential Functions of this Role:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Build, operate, and maintain new or existing test and manufacturing equipment
+ Follow SOP’s to conduct routine manufacturing or test activities.
+ Support equipment calibration activities.
+ Maintain inventory of consumable supplies and equipment in the lab.
+ Maintain 5S lean manufacturing environment and implement improvements.
+ Collaborate with test, development, and design engineers to support R&D projects.
+ Operate 3D printing equipment and perform limited CAD work to prepare files.
+ Support CNC machine setup activities.
+ Support R&D lab logistics operations.
+ Record information as outlined by the engineering department.
+ Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with approved technical data, and test specifications.
+ Use appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for parts being tested.
+ Learn to setup standard and special purpose test equipment to test and evaluate components.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ NA
Work Environment:
+ This job operates in a lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as lightweight machinery and testing equipment.
Physical Demands:
+ May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday
+ Sitting for long periods of time
+ Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
+ Significant manual dexterity for performing assembly tasks.
+ Exposure to outside elements (track, roof, parking lot, etc.)
Expected Hours of Work:
+ Required to work Monday – Friday, minimum 8hrs/day.
+ Overtime may be available based on workload.
Travel :
+ Local travel to warehouse and vendors.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
+ Experience working in a dynamic team environment.
+ Excellent verbal, written, computer & communication skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software applications.
+ Proven problem resolution capabilities, ability to work in a multi-task environment and provide feedback when there are concerns.
+ Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing circumstances and to take a solution-focused approach to situations.
+ Valid CA driver’s license
+ Ability to work overtime as required.
+ Familiarity with the use of basic shop tools, Bandsaw, Cold saw, Grinders, Drill press etc..
+ Comfortable operating forklift, straddle stacker, pallet jack
Nice to have:
+ Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
+ Experience in a lab testing environment working with mechanical testing equipment.
+ Experience with additive manufacturing.
+ Experience with CNC machine setup or operation.

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
