Overview
The Engineering Technician ll in Semiconductor plays a crucial role in supporting the development and manufacturing of semiconductor products. This position is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of semiconductor equipment and the implementation of quality control processes. The Engineering Technician ll works closely with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize semiconductor production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Perform quality control checks on semiconductor products to ensure adherence to industry standards
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in semiconductor production
Conduct data analysis and generate reports on semiconductor production processes
Calibrate and maintain semiconductor manufacturing tools and equipment
Assist in the development and implementation of new semiconductor manufacturing processes
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment in the semiconductor production area
Participate in the training of junior technicians and new employees
Support engineering teams in prototype development and testing of semiconductor products
Document and maintain records of semiconductor production processes and equipment maintenance
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related field
2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related technical field
Proficiency in operating and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Strong understanding of semiconductor technology and manufacturing processes
Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of semiconductor production tools
Experience in conducting quality control checks and data analysis in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and safety measures in semiconductor production
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers and production teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic semiconductor manufacturing environment
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards in semiconductor manufacturing
Capability to lift and move heavy semiconductor manufacturing equipment as needed
