Engineering Technician - Royal Oak, MI - On site - IBU Consulting Pvt Ltd

Position Description:

• Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
• Prepares and/or reviews electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
• Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
• Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
• Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
• Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
• Manages supplier development and delivery.

Skills Required:

• Troubleshooting, pneumatic, preventive maintenance planning, hydraulic, heat induction knowledge.

Experience Required

• Must have a minimum of five plus years' experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.

Education Required

• High school diploma, bachelor's not needed.

Additional Information

• Steel toe, FR uniform, safety glasses, ear plugs.
• Onsite 100%.
• Shift: 1st, 6AM/7AM-3PM/4PM 1st shift, M-F, every other weekend.

MUST HAVE:

• High school diploma
• 5+ years of experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic, preventive maintenance planning, hydraulic.
• Working knowledge of heat induction.
