Engineering Technician - JBL Resources

Day-to-Day Duties May Include:

• Building engineering prototypes, including coordinating materials and developing build processes and fixtures required to complete builds.
• Performing electronic and mechanical reworks on the spot.
• Diagnosing failures on engineering systems, repairing and upgrading engineering prototypes and lab systems (system level failures, sub-assembly failures, test fixture failures).
• Executing engineering-level tests and collecting data to support the design of experiment activities or characterize a device.

• Prioritizing activities across multiple projects, coordinating with team members on requirements and deadlines for each task.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with assembly and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate well with design and manufacturing engineers.
• Moving or lifting equipment/product up to 30 lbs. occasionally required.
• Ability to perform mechanical fabrication using machine and hand tools.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing techniques and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build high-quality prototypes without detailed process instructions.
