Engineering Technician - Mead & Hunt

As a result, a full-time position is available for an Engineering Technician at our Wauwatosa, WI office location.

This position will support our Construction Engineering & Inspection team, performing tasks such as construction inspection and materials testing on various transportation construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Construction inspection
• Materials testing and sampling
• Field measurements and documentation
• Quantity calculations
• Contractor communication
• Interpret construction plan drawings and specifications

Occasional travel and evening or weekend work may be required.

The successful candidate will have all of the following:

• 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Associate degree (or higher) in civil engineering technology, construction management, or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following qualifications:

• Construction inspection experience (WisDOT preferred)
• Knowledge of materials testing equipment and procedures
• HTCP Materials Testing Certifications
• Knowledge of survey equipment
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and AASHTOWare Project software
