Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Test Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of storage systems and components to validate performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Execute detailed test plans, including test cases, procedures, and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of system features and requirements.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and defects in storage systems. Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineering to provide feedback and solutions for complex problems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, procedures, and issues. Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation to communicate findings to engineering and management teams.
• Utilize test automation tools and develop test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Test Engineering
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• AS degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.
• Proven experience in system testing, with a focus on storage systems and components.
• Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, RAID configurations, and related components.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel in USA

Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of work experience with Intel-based hardware and Linux-based operating systems in commercial manufacturing environment.

Pay range is $28.85/ hour - $34.60/ hour
